Tromner Hammer - Light by MDF Instruments

Originally designed by Ernst L.O. Troemner M.D., Director of the Neurological Hospital at St. Georg and Professor at University of Hamburg. MDF Tromner Hammer - Light (AKA Troemner) is a versatile 4-in-1 multifuntional dual-mallet type reflex hammer. In addtion to the myotatic reflex function of the tradtional Tromner, MDF re-designed the Tromner Hammer - Light to also elicit plantar and cutaneous reflexes on adult and pediatric patients with less effort and greater patient comfort.

Head: The balance-weighted head is outfitted with a large and small mallet constructed of TPR for precise percussions

Handle: The lightweight ergonomic HDP handle is designed for increased control of force in percussions to elicit myotatic reflexes.

Babinski-Tip: The integrated Babinski-Tip at the base of the handle effectively elicits cutaneous and plantar reflexes.

Retractable Brush: The built-in retractable brush at the base of the handle can be easily accessed to elicit cutaneous reflexes.

MDF Stethosocpes with defects in material or craftsmanship in the chestpiece, binaurals and spring are replaced/repaired without charge for the lifetime of the instrument, excluding MDF model: MDF727E. MDF Stethoscope tubing with defects in material or craftsmanship are replaced/repaired without charge if the defect is reported within 5 years of the original purchase. MDF Sphygmomanometers with defects in material or craftsmanship are replaced/repaired without charge if the defect is reported within 2 years of the original purchase. MDF Hammers with defects in material or craftsmanship are replaced/repaired without charge if the defect is reported within 2 years of the original purchase.
